The Strategic Plan includes information on what works in substance use prevention, assessment and intervention, and treatment, as well as a status report on the training of the health professionals most likely to encounter individuals and families with substance use disorders. It also provides recommendations for policy makers and individual health care disciplines, as well as for interdisciplinary collaboration and training.
